It's been almost a year since 49 CFR Part 243 has gone into effect for contractors and short line railroads. And for many, there is already a need to update your FRA 243 submissions, which just got easier. You can now make courses inactive in the FRA 243 submission portal.
Find the course you want to make in edit and select the pencil icon.
That's it, it is just two simple steps.
If you are no longer using a course or it was originally submitted by mistake, this is a great new feature in the FRA Portal to make sure FRA has accurate information about the courses you are using under 49 CFR Part 243.
